The vessel I do for the my glasses is to make the container more convenience for people
use, and different from most containers that has more design. Like the pole I do. Based on the
glasses that people wear and human’s nose support the glasses, it gives me ideas of doing a pole
as the function of the nose do. For the lid, I think the flip-open lid will be the most convenience
cover for people because this kind of lid is connection with the body, so that there is no rest
part. For example, if people use slide lid, they should open it, put it on the desk, and then, put
back to close the vessel. But flip-open lid just need to open and close. Further more, this kind
of lid is not easy to lose or break. The vessel I do for my glasses looks more design and different
with the original one.

Description of Project 2
This Project requires to do a vessel for the object that is important to
you. The materials wood so that we should go wood workshop to learn how to
make our design by using band-saw and if it can be realized.
I choose 3 objects: my glasses, my home key, and the calendar notebook.
I think they are very important and meaningful for me because I can’t see this
world clearly with out my glasses and that will be horrible. I love stay at home,
so the hone key is one thing that I never forget and don’t want to lose it, and the
notebook notices me many things that I should do and remember.
As the result, I choose to do a vessel for my glasses because it becomes
it’s the most important object for me like a part of my body. Also, I feel the
original container of the my glasses is very simple, and I want to do something
different and make the vessel of glasses more functional and special.
